Heritage Forty — Limited Edition, 50 Individually Numbered Pieces

Sale price$1,550.00

There are very few objects that arrive complete. No revision necessary. No softening required. The kind of thing that looks exactly as significant today as it did the moment it was unveiled.

The Ferrari F40 was one of those objects. The Heritage Forty exists because of it.

Heritage

The Heritage line represents the highest expression of everything DRVN stands for.

Each model is a permanent design statement. Not a seasonal release. Not a colorway variation. A fully resolved object built around a single moment in automotive history that deserves to be remembered with more than a poster on a wall.

Every Heritage putter is individually numbered and engraved on the sole. Fifty pieces per model. When they are gone they are gone. There is no reissue. No second run.

Ownership is permanent. So is the number.

Forty

In 1987 Enzo Ferrari ordered the creation of a car that would remind the world what Ferrari was actually capable of. No compromise. No concession to comfort or convention. A machine that existed purely to deliver the most visceral, connected driving experience the company could produce.

The F40 was the result. Twin turbocharged. Kevlar and carbon fiber body. A cockpit stripped to essentials. And that silhouette. Angular, aggressive, and so visually resolved that it has never stopped looking relevant.

The Heritage Forty pays homage to that machine through the details that made it immediately recognizable. The square cornered mallet profile draws from the hard edged geometry of the F40 body. The venting details across the top surface reference the iconic engine bay window and fender louvers that became defining features of the car. Every surface transition is deliberate, angular, and unapologetic in the same way the F40 always was.

Finished in Rosso Corsa. The red that carried Italian motorsport through its greatest era. The color that needs no explanation to anyone who has ever watched a Ferrari come through a corner at speed. On the Forty it carries the same weight it always has.

Insert System

In motorsport the tire compound isn't an afterthought. It's one of the most consequential decisions made before a session begins. Same road, same car, same driver. Different compound, different character entirely.

The Heritage Forty operates on the same principle.

DRVN's interchangeable insert system allows the character of the putter to be tuned from the inside out. Material selection changes not just how the strike feels but how the head sounds, how it responds through the hands, and how it sits in terms of total mass. Aluminum inserts carry the head lighter and more fluid. Stainless inserts add weight, presence, and a more planted sensation through the stroke.

The putter doesn't change. Everything about how it responds does.

Inserts

GT3 — Standard A crisscross milled face that delivers balanced response and a slightly softened strike. Lively without sharpness. The starting point for most, and the permanent choice for many.

GT2 — Medium A pill-dash groove pattern that quiets the impact character. Smoother sensation, reduced acoustic presence, more controlled release. For players who prefer feel without commentary.

GT1 — Firm A fine-milled stainless face with a more defined strike and sharper audible response. Direct. Mechanical. The head speaking clearly through the hands.

GT1-R — Firm+ A raw, unmilled stainless face. No grooves, no surface interruption. Pure material meeting ball. Maximum communication, nothing filtered, nothing softened. Every detail of impact transmitted exactly as it happened.

Configuration

The Forty ships standard with the GT1 stainless insert. A deliberate starting point that suits the character of the head and the philosophy behind it.

The F40 was never a car that softened its responses. It told you exactly what it was doing at all times and expected you to keep up. The GT1 delivers the same philosophy through the face. Direct, mechanical, and immediately communicative. A starting point that matches the character of the object it lives in.

The center-shafted face-balanced configuration delivers a composed, controlled stroke with perimeter sole weighting that distributes mass to the extremities for stability and forgiveness without sacrificing the connected feel the Forty was designed to deliver. The result is a mallet that feels planted and authoritative at address and communicative through impact.

Stainless insert configurations deepen that planted, connected quality. Aluminum configurations soften the overall character slightly for players who want more fluidity through release while preserving the stability the architecture provides.

Neither is correct. Both are intentional.

Origin

Some things leave a mark that doesn't fade. Not because they were marketed that way. Because they were built that way. With complete conviction, zero compromise, and no interest in being understood by everyone.

The people who understood the F40 when it arrived still understand it now. That kind of recognition doesn't require explanation. It just requires the right object in the right hands.

The Forty was built for those hands.

Build

Each Heritage Forty is precision milled from 6061 aluminum, hand-finished, and individually inspected before assembly. Tolerances across the insert system and sole geometry are held to exacting standards throughout.

The Forty ships with the DRVN Carbon Core shaft. A fully custom high gloss carbon fiber shaft, stiff flex, built specifically for DRVN. Carbon fiber is not a common material in golf shafts. In almost every other performance discipline it is the default. Lightweight, rigid, and engineered to transmit rather than absorb. On a putter built around feedback and connection, the shaft is not an afterthought. It is part of the conversation.

Fifty pieces. Each one engraved. Each one permanent.

Not built in limited batches because production requires it. Built in limited batches because that is the only way something like this should exist.
