Touring LT

Sale price$700.00

At Le Mans in the late nineties, engineers discovered that lengthening the rear bodywork of a racing car didn't just reduce drag. It created stability at speed that shorter profiles couldn't achieve. The Long Tail cars that emerged from that thinking became some of the most distinctive silhouettes in motorsport history. Not because anyone set out to make them beautiful. Because the physics demanded a shape and that shape turned out to be extraordinary.

The Touring LT was built in that spirit.

Touring

The Touring line represents the more refined side of the DRVN stable.

Where the Mark One pursues tension and aggression, the Touring collection moves in a different direction entirely. Softer transitions, flowing surfaces, proportions that reward patience rather than demand attention. The philosophy comes from an era of grand touring sports cars built not simply for performance, but for the experience of using them. Machines that felt rewarding on a winding road long after the trends around them had moved on.

The Touring collection follows that same mindset. Restrained geometry. Balanced proportions. A design language centered around timelessness rather than theatre.

LT

The LT takes its name from the Long Tail racing cars of the late nineties. Extended rear bodywork, reduced drag, maximum stability at speed. A solution so aerodynamically pure it became its own design language.

That philosophy is visible throughout the LT from every angle. The swept rear profile extends further back than a conventional mallet, creating a head that feels planted and composed before the stroke even begins. The front to back sight line runs the full length of the head, bisecting the surface cleanly and providing a natural alignment reference that settles the eye without demanding attention. The aerodynamic surfacing flows without interruption from face to rear, rounded where it needs to move and deliberate where it needs to hold.

Underneath, the sole carries a detail that will be immediately familiar to anyone who has spent time around racing machinery. It needs no explanation.

Machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in hardcoat anodize, the LT has a presence that feels less like golf equipment and more like something that arrived from a different discipline entirely.

Zero Torque

The LT is engineered around a zero torque configuration.

In practical terms this means the shaft enters the head at a point precisely balanced with the center of mass, eliminating the rotational force that causes most putters to want to open or close through impact. The result is a stroke that stays on its intended path without the player compensating for a head that is fighting them.

It is not a gimmick. It is geometry. And for players who have spent years making unconscious corrections they were never aware of, the difference is immediate.

Insert System

In motorsport the tire compound isn't an afterthought. It's one of the most consequential decisions made before a session begins. Same road, same car, same driver. Different compound, different character entirely.

The Touring LT operates on the same principle.

DRVN's interchangeable insert system allows the character of the putter to be tuned from the inside out. Material selection changes not just how the strike feels but how the head sounds, how it responds through the hands, and how it sits in terms of total mass. Aluminum inserts carry the head lighter and more fluid. Stainless inserts add weight, presence, and a more planted sensation through the stroke.

The putter doesn't change. Everything about how it responds does.

Inserts

GT3 — Standard A crisscross milled face that delivers balanced response and a slightly softened strike. Lively without sharpness. The starting point for most, and the permanent choice for many.

GT2 — Medium A pill-dash groove pattern that quiets the impact character. Smoother sensation, reduced acoustic presence, more controlled release. For players who prefer feel without commentary.

GT1 — Firm A fine-milled stainless face with a more defined strike and sharper audible response. Direct. Mechanical. The head speaking clearly through the hands.

GT1-R — Firm+ A raw, unmilled stainless face. No grooves, no surface interruption. Pure material meeting ball. Maximum communication, nothing filtered, nothing softened. Every detail of impact transmitted exactly as it happened.

Configuration

The LT ships standard with the GT3 aluminum insert. A balanced starting point that suits most strokes and most conditions.

The LT is the most forgiving head in the DRVN lineup by design. The extended rear profile pushes mass further back and to the extremities, producing a moment of inertia that keeps the head stable through impact even when contact isn't perfect. Combined with the zero torque configuration, the result is a putter that removes more variables from the stroke than anything else in the stable.

Aluminum configurations keep the feel fluid and responsive. Stainless configurations deepen the planted quality the LT architecture already delivers, adding presence and feedback for players who want more communication without sacrificing stability.

Neither is correct. Both are intentional.

Origin

There is a different kind of driver. Not the one drawn to aggression for its own sake. The one who understands that the most sophisticated performance is always the result of the most disciplined engineering.

That same understanding finds its way into everything they choose.

Build

Each LT is precision milled from 6061 aluminum, hand-finished, and individually inspected before assembly. Tolerances across the insert system and sole geometry are held to exacting standards throughout.

The LT ships with the DRVN Carbon Core shaft. A fully custom high gloss carbon fiber shaft, stiff flex, built specifically for DRVN. Carbon fiber is not a common material in golf shafts. In almost every other performance discipline it is the default. Lightweight, rigid, and engineered to transmit rather than absorb. On a putter built around feedback and connection, the shaft is not an afterthought. It is part of the conversation.

Built in limited batches. Not because production requires it. Because the standard does.
