Touring Six Four

Sale price$550.00

Some cars were never about the destination. Early morning. Empty road. A 911 settling into its rhythm on a stretch of tarmac that goes on longer than it should. An F355 on a mountain pass. A Diablo on a road that was clearly designed with something like this in mind. No lap times. No audience. Just the feeling of something mechanical and alive responding to every input with complete honesty.

The Touring Six Four was built in that spirit.

Touring

The Touring line represents the more refined side of the DRVN stable.

Where the Mark One pursues tension and aggression, the Touring collection moves in a different direction entirely. Softer transitions, flowing surfaces, proportions that reward patience rather than demand attention. The philosophy comes from an era of grand touring sports cars built not simply for performance, but for the experience of using them. Machines that felt rewarding on a winding road long after the trends around them had moved on.

The Touring collection follows that same mindset. Restrained geometry. Balanced proportions. A design language centered around timelessness rather than theatre.

Six Four

The Six Four takes its name and its character from one of the most recognizable sports car silhouettes ever produced: the Porsche 964.

For those unfamiliar, the 964 was the generation of 911 produced in the early nineties. Cleaner than what came before. More resolved. A car that retained everything essential about the air-cooled 911 while refining it into something more composed and enduring. It became a benchmark not because it chased trends but because it ignored them entirely.

That influence appears throughout the Six Four through proportion and surface treatment rather than direct imitation. The rounded rear shoulders reference the distinctive rear fender shape of the 964. The horizontal rear milling draws from the engine venting found across classic air-cooled 911s. Along the sole, a thin protruding section echoes the uninterrupted rear light bar that became one of the car's defining details. The recessed form at the center of the sole draws directly from the hood profile of the 964. Immediately familiar to anyone who knows the car.

Viewed from above the Six Four maintains a clean and restrained profile. Softened perimeter shaping and flowing transitions give it a more refined visual character than the harder-edged Mark One collection, while the center-shafted face-balanced configuration keeps alignment natural and the stroke composed from start to finish.

The result is a putter that feels less concerned with standing apart and more focused on delivering a balanced, deeply satisfying experience every time it is used.

Insert System

In motorsport the tire compound isn't an afterthought. It's one of the most consequential decisions made before a session begins. Same road, same car, same driver. Different compound, different character entirely.

The Touring Six Four operates on the same principle.

DRVN's interchangeable insert system allows the character of the putter to be tuned from the inside out. Material selection changes not just how the strike feels but how the head sounds, how it responds through the hands, and how it sits in terms of total mass. Aluminum inserts carry the head lighter and more fluid. Stainless inserts add weight, presence, and a more planted sensation through the stroke.

The putter doesn't change. Everything about how it responds does.

Inserts

GT3 — Standard A crisscross milled face that delivers balanced response and a slightly softened strike. Lively without sharpness. The starting point for most, and the permanent choice for many.

GT2 — Medium A pill-dash groove pattern that quiets the impact character. Smoother sensation, reduced acoustic presence, more controlled release. For players who prefer feel without commentary.

GT1 — Firm A fine-milled stainless face with a more defined strike and sharper audible response. Direct. Mechanical. The head speaking clearly through the hands.

GT1-R — Firm+ A raw, unmilled stainless face. No grooves, no surface interruption. Pure material meeting ball. Maximum communication, nothing filtered, nothing softened. Every detail of impact transmitted exactly as it happened.

Configuration

The Six Four ships standard with the GT3 aluminum insert. A balanced starting point that suits most strokes and most conditions.

The Six Four is built around stability and composure. The mid-mallet aluminum body and center-shafted face-balanced configuration distribute mass evenly, creating a stroke that feels unhurried and consistent. Moving through the insert range refines that character further without altering the fundamental nature of the head.

Aluminum configurations keep the feel fluid and responsive through release. Stainless configurations add a more deliberate, planted quality that suits players who want more presence and feedback without sacrificing the composed nature the Six Four delivers by design.

Neither is correct. Both are intentional.

Origin

There is a different kind of driver. Not the one chasing lap times or looking for the edge of grip. The one who takes the long way home because the road deserves it. Who understands that the best drives have nothing to do with speed and everything to do with feel.

That same sensibility finds its way into everything they choose.

Build

Each Six Four is precision milled from 6061 aluminum, hand-finished, and individually inspected before assembly. Tolerances across the insert system and sole geometry are held to exacting standards throughout.

The Six Four ships with the DRVN Carbon Core shaft. A fully custom high gloss carbon fiber shaft, stiff flex, built specifically for DRVN. Carbon fiber is not a common material in golf shafts. In almost every other performance discipline it is the default. Lightweight, rigid, and engineered to transmit rather than absorb. On a putter built around feedback and connection, the shaft is not an afterthought. It is part of the conversation.

Built in limited batches. Not because production requires it. Because the standard does.
